Everyone Said The Same Thing About WNBA All-Star Game

The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game received mostly rave reviews from those who watched it. Perhaps the NBA should have been taking notes.

Team WNBA toppled Team USA in a 117-109 affair at Footprint Center in Pheonix, Ariz. The game featured several electrifying moments, including a memorable assist from Caitlin Clark to Angel Reese .

Above all, the game was competitive throughout as both teams clearly wanted the win.

A handful of hoops fans shared a similar sentiment about the WNBA All-Star Game. Several voiced out that the WNBA exhibition game was a far better product than recent iterations of the NBA All-Star Game.

"NBA players should be watching this WNBA All-Star game. This is what an all-star game is supposed to look like."

"Dare I say we are all having much more fun watching this WNBA All-Star game than NBA AllStar."

"I fear this is better than the NBA All-Star game."

"These women are actually playing hard and competing to WIN like athletes are supposed to."

In all fairness to the NBA, the WNBA All-Star Game pitted the US women's national team against the best of the rest. Perhaps the NBA All-Star Game would become also more competitive in a similar format.

But even if that were the case, the WNBA still deserves credit for going with such a format that the NBA has yet to try.

A Team USA vs. Team World matchup next NBA season might be worthy of consideration amid dwindling interest in the NBA All-Star Game.
