Paige Bueckers Defends Herself After Getting Roasted For WNBA All-Star Game Outfit

In one year from now, UConn star guard Paige Bueckers might be appearing in her first WNBA All-Star Game as a rookie.

Bueckers is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, and has the skillset necessary to make an immediate impact on whichever team she's selected by.

Last night, however, Bueckers was content to attend the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game as a spectator.

She was sitting courtside during the iconic game, watching her former peers Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark playing.

And Bueckers was wearing a denim puffy jacket, jean shorts, and a red shirt.

Which got her roasted on social media.

X user @AllEliteKeeks went extremely viral on X Sunday by writing, "Paige dress like a 50 year old black man" in a reply to a photo of her All-Star Game outfit.

The joke has nearly 1 million views just eight hours after being posted.

And the comment caught so much attention that even Bueckers had to chime in and offer her response by writing, "Someone said UnctieTwitters unreal… imma fly one tho idc what is said".

It's cool to see that Bueckers is willing to take jokes about her fashion sense.
