The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game featured a few well-known figures in the women's sports community. Two of the biggest stars sitting courtside to watch the game were UConn Huskies women's basketball star Paige Bueckers and WNBA legend Sue Bird.

Bird was seen rocking a signed Bueckers college basketball jersey after the game, and the NCAA star commented on the post, sharing a respectable note toward the former Seattle Storm guard.

Bueckers said Bird was another basketball GOAT, dropping the goat emoji to describe the sports icon.

"Your favorite player's favorite player," replies Bueckers on the Huskies social media page.

There's clear respect for the WNBA legend as one of the most promising young players in the women's basketball landscape.
