Despite Team USA's loss to Team WNBA in the All-Star Game on Saturday, Brittney Griner still had quite a memorable game. In fact, she made history in the process.

Griner scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds in Team USA's 117-109 defeat to Team WNBA during the battle of the league's best. In turn, the Phoenix Mercury star became just the fourth player in history to score over 100 points in WNBA All-Star Games.

With her performance, Griner now has 106 career points in All-Star Games, joining Maya Moore (119), Tamika Catchings (108) and Lisa Leslie (102) as the only players to reach the mark, per ESPNW. Griner is a 10-time WNBA All-Star.

It's definitely quite an achievement for Brittney Griner considering all the names on the list. Even better, she actually has a chance to become the top scorer in the All-Star Game should she continue to make the annual event.

Griner is averaging 18.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.4 blocks per game in the 2024 season. At just 33 years old, she definitely has plenty more years left to dominate in the WNBA and grab that All-Star scoring record.
