While friendships and relationships were forming on Love Island USA , some of the islanders' moms were making friendships of their own.
Kara Kaylor-Stewart, the mother of Kaylor from this season of Love Island , opened up about connecting to other moms to help get through watching the show. She spoke exclusively to The Mirror about forming these friendships.
The mom of three was going through her Instagram when she saw a photo of her daughter Kaylor and Aaron. The caption called Kaylor "my future daughter-in-law," so Kara reached out to the account and it turned out to be Aaron's mother, Jenny.

"So we started going back and forth and calling them Kay-ron and we were rooting for them," Kara said. Then Casa Amor happened.
During that time, Aaron started to get cozy with Daniela in Casa while Kaylor was crying over missing Aaron and not really getting close to any of the other men. Kara couldn't find it in her to reach out to Jenny anymore.
"I had nothing nice to say so I didn't feel it'd be appropriate to say anything at all," she admitted. Around that time, Serena's mom reached out to her online.
The two helped each other navigate the hate since Serena and Kaylor were both going through it after Casa with Kordell and Aaron respectively. "I started talking to her and she was dealing with a lot of hatred and just awful things and she was trying to navigate her social media account. So she could relate to my pain," Kara said.
"It's a great support system to have Serena's mom. [Serena] was being bashed and so was Kaylor," she continued.
Kara used Facebook as an outlet, slamming Aaron online because she was hurt on behalf of her daughter and seeing Kaylor heartbroken. After both Kara and Jenny were on a video call with Kaylor and Aaron on the show, Jenny reached out to her.
"His mom reached out to me first and she said your family is so lovely," Kara said, "She was so forgiving and her response was that she had absolutely no negative feelings and understands the way I feel. And she understood everything I said."
She added that she apologized to Jenny for what she wrote on Facebook. "Because I thought what if I would have read those things about my daughter, and coming from a mom that's just awful," she said.
Kara continued: "I offered an apology and said, 'You know, Jenny, I am so sorry that I used my anger, my emotions.'" She added: "I didn't know that people could just go through my Facebook stuff. I thought my stuff that I posted was going to my family and friends, not the world. I would not have posted it."
