Showers and storms continue into the evening

Good Monday evening everyone! It has been a wet, mild, and gray day across the state of Maryland as our unsettled weather pattern sets up overhead. A warm front stalls to our south and brings unsettled weather through Thursday. There will be multiple chances for showers and storms each afternoon/evening. Highs remain in the upper 80s and low 90s with increased humidity levels. Tuesday looks like showers move later in, while Wednesday and Thursday remain on the wetter side. There is the potential for very heavy and much-needed rainfall so those in urban areas may have to watch for some isolated flooding incidents. Skies will dry out on Friday as our cold front finally exists, and ridging takes place. Humidity levels decrease into the weekend with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low-90s.
