    Where the good news shines

Littleton resident Ashley Kozłowski booked her ticket to the U.S. Women's Amateur this week.

The recent Purdue graduate rolled to an eight stoke victory in the CGA Women's Stroke Play Championship on Friday at the Olde Course at Loveland. The win, her first CGA victory, gives her an auto berth into U.S. Women's Amateur.

The margin of victory was the largest since LPGA Tour star Jennifer Kupcho won by 13 shots in 2017. Kupcho also won by 21 and 19 shots during her career.

University of Denver golfer Emma Bryant and Maddy Bante tied for second place at the 77th edition of the tournament.
