    Louisa County Sheriff’s Office to host catfish fishing challenge

    LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a catfish fishing challenge in September that will benefit the office’s K-9 teams.

    The challenge will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 at Lake Anna’s High Point Marina.

    According to the sheriff’s office, cash prizes will be awarded for the first three places. The three biggest fish by weight will win the top three spots.

    The office said it will release more information regarding the challenge soon.
