SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – Four people left a Planet Fitness in Spartanburg on Sunday to discover their cars damaged and broken into.

According to an incident report, an officer with the Spartanburg Police Department was called to the Planet Fitness on East Main Street just before 6 p.m. Sunday.

According to the report, between 3 and 5:30 p.m., someone had gone through the parking lot and broken into at least four vehicles. All four vehicles showed similar signs of damage to their keyholes, and each had items missing from inside.

Two gym members reported their wallets had been stolen, with their drivers licenses and debit cards inside them, and one person reported a firearm kept in their truck was also missing.

According to the police report, the gym does not have video cameras outside of the building.
