    2.2 magnitude earthquake hits Caldwell County

    CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A 2.2 magnitude earthquake hit Caldwell County this weekend, the US Geological Survey confirmed.

    The quake hit the Cedar Rock area early Sunday morning, just north of Lenoir and Pisgah National Forest and reports came in varying from Wilkesboro to Fleetwood. Four residents submitted reports.

    No injuries and no damage were reported.
