    Illinois is picked to finish 13th in a preseason poll of Big Ten football reporters conducted by cleveland.com, the website for The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer.

    The News-Gazette's Bob Asmussen was one of 27 voters.

    Twenty-seven voters picked Ohio State to win the Big Ten and six went with Oregon.

    Twenty-one said the Big Ten will have three teamsin the College Football Playoffs. Ten said four and two went with two.

    The Big Ten media kickoff is scheduled to start Tuesday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The conference office doesn't release a preseason poll, though it will select 12 players to watch.
