The highest-charting album debut of her career. A little over a week ago, Megan Moroney released her sophomore studio album Am I Okay? , which has quickly become a fan-favorite and already the highest-charting record she's ever released. According to Billboard
, Megan's album debuted at #9 on the on the Billboard Top 200 all-genre albums chart this week, moving over 43,000 units, with 13,000 of them being pure sales. Additionally, she has already racked up over 38.05 million on-demand streams. It's obviously the biggest released of her career, though only her second full-length album, and an impressive way to start this new chapter of her career:
The Georgia native had a ton of momentum going into the album, and we knew after she released her debut Lucky last year that Meg is a superstar with an impressive knack for writing and an incredible wit that makes her unique brand of country stand out, in a way that I really haven’t heard since Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert first came onto the scene in terms of the mainstream part of the genre. Am I Okay? just feels so elevated, and I’d say that probably comes with the amount of life she’s lived in the past year and her whirlwind of a career since releasing her aforementioned debut. And of course, that style of very southern, sassy writing always resonates with me so I love having an artist like her doing it so well. While maybe every song is not completely relatable for every person because it is about her experience as a 26-year old woman navigating life and heartbreak, there’s a little something for everyone on the 12-song tracklist and that makes it a winner. She really has it all, and even if she’s not totally okay in this era as the album title suggests, she’s the next big thing in country and a truly talented artist with a lot to say and a special way of saying it that people need and want to hear. I think this record will only continue to do well, and I'm excited to see where it takes her career from here.

"I Attract Things That Aren't Good" - Megan Moroney Says She's Not "Emotionally Available" For A Relationship Right Now

Sorry, guys. Megan Moroney has become a star over the last year or so, and while she's as talented as the day is long, Meg is also strikingly beautiful and quite popular among the guys for that reason specifically. And while she says she's currently single, it doesn't sound like she's necessarily ready to mingle... In an interview with Kelleigh Bannen on Today’s Country Radio on Apple Music Country , Megan says she's been in therapy learning about herself, and says she's realized now that she's not "emotionally available" to have a relationship right now. She explained that she "attracts things that aren't good" (if you know, you know) because in all honesty, with her touring schedule and everything else going on, she just doesn't have time for a secure and safe relationship which is what she really wants:
"I think in therapy what I'm realizing, too though, is I don't know if I'm emotionally available to have a relationship right now. You know what I mean? Because I want a safe, secure relationship and I'm on the road all the time. You know what I mean? So I think I attract things that aren't good because I don't have time for something that would be good right now. But we figuring it all out." There ya have it, guys... And I think that's probably something a lot of us know about all too well, and I can only imagine it's that much harder with a schedule like she has right now. But if you're in the same situation as Meg right now, she gave us some incredible new songs to listen to that will do the trick for now and I'll have them all the way up this weekend:
