JoJo Siwa Issues Bold Statement After Beating Surprising Record Reportedly Held By Taylor Swift

JoJo Siwa has reportedly beaten a record previously held by Taylor Swift , and the dancer-turned-singer had some bold words after learning about the surprising achievement.

According to the Dance Moms alum , "a list just got released of the most disliked videos by a female artist on YouTube in 2024.” The singer emphatically listed off the top titles in a recent video uploaded to her TikTok page.

We're unsure how the dancer determined which videos had garnered the highest number of dislikes on the platform, but, according to Siwa, one of her recent music videos has overtaken Swift's lead single from The Tortured Poets Department , “Fortnight,” for the honor.

Siwa was a good sport about the whole thing, flagging herself as a winner with trophy emojis across the screen before issuing a bold statement about surpassing the Eras Tour superstar.

“You know, I am the only person that can say I beat Taylor Swift on a list of something,” she said, closing the list on her laptop and throwing her hands up in the air. “I’ll take it!”

During the video, Siwa listed Ariana Grande’s “yes, and?” In fourth place with 290 thousand dislikes, followed by Katy Perry’s brand new single “Woman’s World” at 330 thousand and "Fortnight" at a “whopping” 350 thousand dislikes.

In first place, of course, Siwa’s “Karma” had reportedly racked up an “astonishing, record-breaking” 3.15 million dislikes.

It’s not clear how Siwa got her numbers, as while the dislike button is active on YouTube, the video streaming service has hidden the total number of times the button has been clicked from the public eye, and there doesn’t appear to be a definitive list published by the platform of the most disliked videos.

According to a browser extension installed by Parade , those numbers were up to 291 thousand, 610 thousand, and 356 thousand, respectively, at the time of writing, with Siwa’s “Karma” up to 3.2 million dislikes.
