New reports provide an update on Tamina and MVP after they were reportedly removed from WWE’s internal roster.

PWN sparked some buzz by reporting that Tamina and MVP have been pulled from WWE’s internal roster.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider then reported that, as of the morning of July 22nd, Tamina was still listed in the company’s Misc. section. Tamina has not wrestled since February.

As for MVP, Johnson reported that, per sources, his deal is up in mid-August , and there have not been any major discussions about a new deal yet. Johnson wrote that there was some talk of using MVP as a producer or an announcer, but nothing cave of it. MVP was said to be listed in the Misc. section of the internal talent list, but the belief is that he will leave when his deal is up.

    More Details

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select ) then reported that he confirmed that MVP and Tamina are not expected to be used on-screen. Per Sapp, MVP is not expected back in the company , and this has been the conclusion for a while. MVP has been vocal about his opinion of Triple H in recent months.

Sapp writes that Tamina has not been at television in months, or at least not regularly. Per Sapp, there were not plans for her when she was drafted to SmackDwn in 2023. The report sites sources who said that it would not be surprising to see her stay with WWE in some capacity, as she is a locker room leader.

Fightful reached out to WWE but they didn’t comment.
