JESUP, Ga. (WSAV) – A 10-year-old charged following the death of Noah Bush has been sentenced, a source from the courtroom tells WSAV.

The juvenile was charged with trespassing and concealing the death of another just over a week ago. He will face two years in a probation detention center.

Bush was 8 years old when he was discovered dead in a borrow pit. A string of demonstrations, headlines and public scrutiny against the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office culminated in the charges against two juveniles.

Last week, the mother of one of the detainees was arrested and charged with a probation violation and making false statements.

The other detainee, an 11-year-old, is awaiting sentencing.

This is a developing story and WSAV will provide updates when they are available.
