In a stunning tale of luck and intuition, Jeremy H from Pennsylvania bagged himself a towering $1.14 million lottery jackpot, all thanks to advice he snagged from a store clerk .

Jeremy revealed he normally wouldn't have played Match 6, but the Rutter's employee's tip-off about frequent winners sparked his interest. According to the Pennsylvania Lottery , Jeremy said, "I don't normally play Match 6, but the clerk at Rutter's told me they get a lot of winners, so for the past few months, I've been buying tickets once a week."

That change in strategy proved fruitful when Jeremy purchased the winning Match 6 Lotto ticket for the Saturday, May 20 drawing at the Rutter's located on West Main Street in Fawn Grove, York County. After practically forgetting about the tickets, Jeremy received an unexpected nudge to check them.

"I left the ticket on my kitchen counter and forgot to check it," he admitted. He was then prompted to take a look after receiving a mobile alert: "I got an alert on my phone that Monday from NewsBreak saying a winning ticket was sold at the Rutter's."

Realizing his ticket came from the same place as the winning one, he checked and discovered his tremendous win. Overwhelmed by the shock, Jeremy shared, "I immediately called my brother and said, 'You will never believe this!'"

Jeremy quickly shared the news of his windfall with the rest of his family. "Then I called my other brother and then my wife. I never thought I would win anything like this in my life," he said.

Unlike many lottery winners who quit their jobs after hitting the jackpot, Jeremy, an asphalt company owner, plans to keep working. When asked about his plans for the money, he said: "I'll probably put the money away for retirement and some house projects."

Jeremy didn't just credit the store clerk for his win, he also felt a higher power was at play. He added: "I'm still taking it all in, I'm very thankful. I think someone from above was looking out for me."
