Timberland Regional Library (TRL) is surveying residents in its five-county service area to guide the library’s plans and priorities for the future, according to a news release.

Residents can submit feedback and suggestions on library use, services, programs, facilities and other topics. The results will inform TRL’s 2025 to 2029 Strategic Direction, a tool for ensuring the library meets the evolving needs of its communities, according to TRL’s website.

“We want to make sure that our strategic plan reflects the diverse needs and aspirations of our patrons,” TRL deputy director Kendra Jones said in a statement. “Your feedback will play a crucial role in shaping the library’s future.”

Residents of all ages and backgrounds from any of the TRL-serviced counties — Lewis, Thurston, Mason, Grays Harbor, Mason and Pacific County — may complete the survey online or on paper at any TRL branch. The survey takes about five minutes to complete, and all responses to it are confidential. It is available in English, Spanish, Korean and Vietnamese.

“This is an exciting opportunity for everyone in our community to have their voices heard,” Jones said in a statement.
