Disgruntled Patriots defender Matthew Judon seems to agree with a fan who believes the team should trade him to the 49ers.
On Saturday, an X user and purported fan of the Patriots, proposed that New England send Judon and a second-round pick to San Francisco for wideout Brandon Aiyuk and a fifth-round pick.
Judon reposted the tweet, seemingly endorsing the idea.

However, he later responded to a report from the Boston Sports Journal after Greg Bedard said that Judon would not play for the Patriots under his current deal.
“Before yall get on my ass I didn’t say that. At all don’t let them make me the villain,” Judon wrote on X at the time .

Judon, who turns 32 in August, has played the last three seasons for the Patriots after playing for the Ravens for the first five years of his NFL career.

The Patriots could use him because Bill Belichick struggled to draft and develop that position towards the end of his legendary tenure with the organization.
As for the Niners side, Judon would form a fearsome pass rushing duo with Nick Bosa, but San Francisco is facing a salary cap crunch.
The team has a lot of money tied up in Bosa, offensive lineman Trent Williams, running back Christian McCaffrey and wide receiver Deebo Samuel — with quarterback Brock Purdy seemingly also awaiting a blockbuster deal in the next year or two.
