    Crash shuts down I-77 in northern Iredell County

    OLIN, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One lane is still closed on Interstate 77 South from a crash in northern Iredell County Monday night.

    According to the N.C. Department of Transportation, crews arrived around 8:40 p.m. July 22 at mile marker 61 near Harmony. All of the southbound lanes were closed at Exit 65 (West Memorial Highway) for two hours, but only one is closed as of 11 p.m.

    The road is expected to fully reopen by 4 a.m. Tuesday.

    Motorists are advised to follow the direction of on-scene personnel and use caution when traveling through the area.

    There is no word on any injuries from the crash.
