    PSP investigating vandalism to vacant house in Indiana County

    INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after they said a vacant house in Indiana County was broken into and vandalized.

    On Monday, July 22 just before 2:30 p.m., troopers were called to a vacant house on the 2000 block of West Pike Road in West Township. The property owner reported that they found it vandalized.

    According to a release, the vandalism is believed to have occurred in the evening or overnight hours of July 21 or July 22. Troopers noted that numerous appliances including light fixtures, doors, windows, drywall, a sink and a toilet were damaged or destroyed.

    They added that several juveniles were seen fleeing the area on foot during the evening hours. Troopers added that one or multiple suspects may have sustained an injury during the incident as blood was found at the scene.
