The Bachelorette Jenn Tran's one-word hint is 'important' as Spencer makes confession

The Bachelorette fans were quick to notice that Jenn Tran seemed comfortable around Spencer on the pair's one-on-one date.

She took Spencer on an unforgettable helicopter ride full of amazing scenic view and champagne. Jenn called the experience "exhilarating" and didn't shy away from the fact that she "did get a little bit nervous." However, she added: "Spencer's there and he makes me feel comfortable."

Fans certainly noticed when Jenn spilled a key word that seemed to be a huge green flag. She said: "Spencer, he put my seat belt on for me. He poured my champagne for me and, you know, Spencer's been a safe space for me all day."

The reaction on X, formerly known as Twitter, was immediate. "The fact that Jenn called Spencer 'safe' and it’s only been 3-4 days in the process is telling," wrote one fan. Another said: "She said Spencer’s a safe space. That’s important."

Fans' hearts melted more because of her sweet description of her date. Jenn said: "Since night one, Spencer's always been on to be really attentive toward me and he has golden retriever energy which I'm digging. He brings out the goofy side of me, like, I can be myself with him and I love that feeling."

"Spencer really does give off golden retriever vibes," one fan agreed with the Bachelorette. Another was thrilled to see she was "opening the night with a 1:1 with golden retriever Spencer!"

"Oh she looks great kinda comfy," a fan wrote of Jenn's demeanor. Another realized that Spencer was totally in his element, writing: "And in a helicopter ride looks like Spencer actually got a good enthusiasm he’s got his mojo going."

Jenn's hopes were high for Spencer. She explained: "So, my hope is that today he continues to put me first because that's what's been missing in my past relationships and I'm hoping at the end of the date I can truly see him as someone I would want to spend my life with."

The date did get into that deeper level as Spencer decided to get vulnerable with her. He dropped a major confession on Jenn, explaining that he was engaged in the past, but found out that his ex-fiancee cheated on him. Jenn was concerned that might impact his trust and ability to be ready to take the plunge all over again, but Spencer emphasized the connection he felt with her and said it was something he could potentially overcome.
