Level 2 (BE SET!) evacuations added to West White Swan Fire in Yakima County

WHITE SWAN, Wash. -- Updated at 7:30 p.m.: New Level 2 (BE SET!) evacuations have been issued due to the West White Swan Fire in Yakima County. The following areas are impacted:

Evans Road to Barkes Road
Barkes Road to Marion Drain Road
Marion Drain Road to Mission Road
Mission Road to Signal Peak Road
Signal Peak Road to Hawk Road
Hawk Road to Pearne Road
Pearne Road to Evans Road

The West White Swan Fire started on Monday, July 22nd, 2024 in Yakima County. It started off of Wesley Rd and White Swan Rd. Below is up to date information.

Level 3 (GO NOW!) Evacuations:

Wesley Road to Branch Road
Branch Road to Stephenson Road
Stephenson Road to Fort Road
Fort Road to Wesley Road

Level 3 (BE SET!) Evacuations:

Evans Road to Barkes Road
Barkes Road to Marion Drain Road
Marion Drain Road to Mission Road
Mission Road to Signal Peak Road
Signal Peak Road to Hawk Road
Hawk Road to Pearne Road
Pearne Road to Evans Road

Closures: A road closure remains in effect for Highway 395, between mile posts 50 through 90, beginning 35 miles South of Pilot Rock.
