The Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association recently honored its top senior student-athletes for each high school. Monroe-Woodbury High School selected Julia Landres and Ariel Koyfman.

Athletic Honors: Captain for three years; School and OCIAA meet record holder in the 100-meter breaststroke; Three top-10 podium finishes at the NYSPHSAA championships, including a fifth-place finish in the 100 breast this season; varsity swimmer since eighth grade; three-time team Section IX champion
Community Service: Leader and president of my chapter’s CTEEN, a community outreach program that helps teens embrace their Jewish heritage and connect with 52 other Jewish teens, with over 250 hours of community service through this organization. At the beginning of sophomore year, our chapter received the New York State Senate 2021 Empire Award from Senator James Skoufis
