Giovannie is back and better than ever. In May,
Giovannie & the Hired Guns frontman took to social media, sharing that he was
taking a step back from the limelight to address issues he was facing with drugs and alcohol. As a musician whose brand was this larger-than-life rock star and party boy, this was a big move for Giovannie Yanez, who checked into a substance abuse program in an effort to get healthy. After taking time to work on himself, Gio told fans that he is ready to get back in the saddle. Upon completing his program, he shared his certificate, highlighting that he successfully completed the treatment program and is now equipped with the tools to stay happy and healthy. https://www.instagram.com/p/C9dKkRDSi8Y/ Of course, maintaining sobriety is an every day battle, and can definitely be tougher on the traveling musician, but Gio looks like he's doing great. He took to social media to show fans the side-by-side comparison of how much happier he looks since taking the time to work on himself. Gio shared an image before he checked himself into rehab and another image with his mother recently. In the second image, you can see the light in his eyes and the color back on his face. Not only that, but Gio seems to have slimmed down some, too... looking much more joyous overall.
