Arizona Eatery Serves The Best 'Cheap Eats' In The State

You don't have to break the bank in order to enjoy a delicious dish that doesn't compromise on flavor just because it comes with a lower price tag. Plenty of restaurants offer diners options that pack a punch for a small price, giving them the biggest bang for their buck.

Cheapism searched for the best "cheap eats" around the country and compiled a list of the top dish in every state that will cost $12 or less, from gooey, chocolatey desserts to regional takes on classic dishes. According to the site, the best inexpensive dish in all of Arizona is the chimichanga served at El Charro Cafe in Oro Valley and Tuscon, with the dish served at Carolina's Mexican Food, which has locates in Phoenix, Mesa and Peoria, named the runner-up.

Here's what Cheapism had to say about the best cheap dish in Arizona:

"While most of the menu at El Charre Cafe, the nation's oldest Mexican restaurant continuously operated by the same family, is $17 or higher [...] you can get a bean and cheese burro for $9. Go for the regular sized chimichangas at Carolina's with your choice of beef or chicken topped with cheese and green onions at just $10."
