One transported after vehicle goes over Kanawha County hillside

UPDATE (6:03 p.m. on July 23, 2024) — One person found walking near the site of the crash, who crews believe to be the occupant of the crashed vehicle, has been transported for medical treatment.

According to Metro 911, the extent of injuries is unknown at this time.

CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) — Responders are searching for the occupants of a vehicle that crashed into a tree after going over a hillside in Kanawha County Tuesday.

According to Metro 911, the crash was reported on 4 Mile Hollow Road and Kanawha State Forest Drive. The vehicle is said to be stuck on its side against a tree after it went ten feet over a hillside.

Responding EMS are currently reporting that the occupants of the vehicle are missing. Kanawha County Deputies are on the way to the scene.
