BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. ( WETM ) — Bradford County residents can expect more overnight roadwork this week.
According to PennDOT, crews are going to apply a microsurfacing treatment to Route 6 between Main Street (Route 2027) in Towanda Borough and Laning Creek Road (Route 1033) in Wysox Township on Wednesday, July 24, and Thursday, July 25. Crews will be working between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night.
PennDOT reminds drivers to use Route 6 detour ahead of Troy Fair The road will be reduced to one lane while roadwork is being performed. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic during the lane closures.
The work on Route 6 is part of a countywide microsurfacing project. Crews will be treating more of Route 6 and other roadways in Wyalusing, Tuscarora, Wysox, and Canton at later dates.
