    Evacuation warning lifted after Madera County fire, 1 home damaged

    MADERA COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Evacuation warnings issued in Madera County on Tuesday afternoon have been lifted following a fire in the O’Neals area, officials confirmed Tuesday evening.

    The Sheriff’s Office previously issued an evacuation warning for those living in the areas of Road 200 in O’Neals, Circle J Ranch Road, Flying O Ranch Road, MAD-E1029, and MAD-E1035. That warning has since been lifted.

    According to officials, one home was burned – but no one was inside it at the time.

    Deputies say the fire started in the area around the 48000 block of Road 200 in O’Neals. The incident has been named the Circle Fire.

    According to Cal Fire , as of Tuesday afternoon, the Circle Fire is 46 acres and 30% contained. Forward progress has also been stopped.
