Women's basketball legend Rebecca Lobo is convinced that Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark is already the best in the WNBA in one key area, and fans couldn't agree more.
On Monday, Lobo expressed her belief that Clark is already "the best passer in the league," adding that she's simply "incredible." While the Fever sharpshooter is committing a league-high 5.6 turnovers , the Hall of Famer pointed out that it's normal given the way she's playing.
"Her turnovers are always going to be a little bit high because of the chances she takes, especially with get-ahead passes," Lobo added, via SiriusXM NBA Radio. "She’s looking to thread the needle: Oftentimes it makes it there, and sometimes it doesn’t."
Sure enough, WNBA fans loved the praise that Rebecca Lobo gave Caitlin Clark, with many emphasizing that the hoops icon couldn't have said it any better.
"She's the "BEST" period!!!!!" a fan exclaimed. Another hyped supporter even exaggerated it and said that Clark isn't only the best passer in the league but also "on the planet, in the galaxy."
"Adapt, adjust, attack. Multidimensional players are the hardest to scheme for. Clark has always been an excellent passer (1st All Time scoring BUT ALSO 3rd ALL Time in Assists for NCAA women). She has said she truly loves it, she is probably in heaven having more scoring options around her she can facilitate," a commenter added, referring to how Clark dished out a rookie record 10 assists in the WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday, July 20.

"Best. Passer. In. The. League." a social media user doubled down. A fifth fan shared, "It’s not close either."
Other supporters said that it's a "fact" and that they have been saying the same thing for some time now.
For what it's worth, Clark leads the WNBA in assists per game with 8.2, so the numbers also back up the claim that she's currently the best passer in the league.
