Rebecca Lobo Clears Air On Viral 'Best Passer' Message About Caitlin Clark

According to WNBA legend Rebecca Lobo, Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark is the best passer in the league. This is quite a statement coming from one of the icons of women's basketball, which is why it's no surprise that Lobo's bold statement has blown up online.

So much so that Lobo appears to have felt the need to clear the air about her all-encompassing message about the rookie sensation.

"Answer started with, 'Chelsea Gray, over the course of the last few years, has been the best point guard in the world and the best passer in the WNBA…'" Lobo wrote on X (formerly Twitter) as she captioned an excerpt of her viral statement.

Apart from a few comments on X that disagree with Lobo's strong take, her statement has generally been met with agreement. Still, Lobo felt compelled to provide additional context to her quote by reiterating her praise for three-time WNBA champion Chelsea Gray.

Either way, it does not sound like Lobo is backtracking on her decision to crown Clark as the best passer in the WNBA today.
