The WNBA All-Star Game drew a record number of viewers as Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese faced off against Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, Kelsey Plum and company. But, Team WNBA got the 117-109 win over Team USA in a thrilling contest.

Dallas Wings star Arike Ogunbowale was named MVP of the game as she scored a game-high 34 points.

There were plenty of other big names in the game, including Seattle Storm star Nneka Ogwumike, who has a WNBA MVP, a WNBA title, and nine All-Star trips to her resume, among others.

On Tuesday, Ogwumike had a powerful take after the successful All-Star Game.

"A tone was set...this year was different."

Ogwumike scored 14 points on 7-of-9 from the field as she has been a constant name in the WNBA All-Star Game for quite some time.

Ogwumike posted a few photos, one with Angel Reese, and a video clip in which they were asked a question about investors and the state of the game.

But, the WNBA is peaking at an all-time high. The WNBA All-Star Game was just more proof of that.

Ogwumike has been around the league for a while, so she has seen the game and league grow into what it is today. And it doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
