WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Areas of dense fog along the eastern and southeastern parts of Texoma as temperatures and dew points are match up in the upper 60s. A bit warmer and drier is all that separates the clear skies along the western and the foggy conditions in the east. Temperatures will increase throughout the morning and into the afternoon with highs reaching up into the mid 90s. Fog will begin to breaking up and burn off during the late morning hours as conditions will also return to mostly clear for the afternoon.

Thursday and Friday we will continue to see isolated showers and afternoon clouds bubble up throughout the region. The better chances will still remain along the southeastern parts of Texoma. Temperatures will hold fairly steady with afternoon highs reaching into the mid 90s, by the weekend, winds will start to turn more consistently out of the south, that will lead to hotter temperatures for next week.

Next week, afternoon temperatures climb further reaching up into the upper 90s and low 100s as the region will return to the triple digits as we finish up July and start off August.
