SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Registered voters across San Diego County can expect to soon receive a post card in the mail with voting information.

The postcards read, ““VOTE! MORE DAYS. MORE WAYS.” It explains that each registered voter will receive a ballot in the mail and that there are three options for returning it. It can mailed in, or dropped off at official ballot drop boxes or at any vote center in the county.

Additionally, county officials said the Registrar’s office anticipates opening 146 official ballot drop boxes starting Tuesday, Oct. 8. A list of official ballot drop boxes and vote centers will be available in September at sdvote.com .

For those who do prefer to vote in-person, select vote centers in the county will offer early voting starting Saturday, Oct. 26. A list of those location will be added to that same webpage once the information becomes available.

“Elections are no longer a one-day event and there is no need to wait until the final day to vote,” county officials stated while announcing the release of the postcards.
