Miranda Lambert Announces New Album, ‘Postcards From Texas’

There's no place like home. Today, Texas native Miranda Lambert announced her 10th studio album Postcards from Texas , which will be out everywhere in a couple of months on September 13th. It is her first project with new label Republic Records , and she previously said that it's full of steel guitar and honky tonk production, which harkens back to some of her early work on albums like Kerosene and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend . Postcards from Texas features 14 songs on the tracklist, including previously-released "Wranglers" and "Dammit Randy," as well as a cover of David Allen Coe's "Living On The Run." There's also a song called "Run" on the tracklist that some fans thought might be a cover of the George Strait classic, but it looks like a Miranda original that was written solely by her. The project was recorded at Austin’s legendary Arlyn Recording Studios, and produced by Miranda alongside Jon Randall. Miranda most recently released her Palomino album in 2022, which was about her wanderlust and traveling the world, but Postcards from Texas finds her right at home in the Lone Star State: "On my last album, I was traveling.
