Miranda Lambert had an exciting announcement to share with her fans this week—and in true Texas style, the news was pretty big.

On Wednesday, July 24, the country songstress unveiled a brand new album, Postcards from Texas , which is slated to drop this upcoming September.

Taking to Instagram to share the news, Lambert gave her fans a first look at the new album artwork, which features the 40-year-old musician posing next to a pick-up truck with some cattle in the background. The "Bluebird" singer was, of course, sporting her signature countrified style in the cover shot, wearing jeans, a graphic T-shirt and a cowgirl hat.

Lambert's post on Wednesday also featured postcards that each revealed a song title for the 14-track album, which hosts some very Texas-inspired titles, including "Looking Back on Luckenbach" and "Armadillo."

One of the postcards featured a special message from Lambert, a Texas native who wrote, "On my last album, I was traveling. Now I'm home."

"P.S. It's honky tonk as hell," she added of the new album, much to the delight of her country fans.

"Can’t wait! 🙌 bring back the honky tonk! ❤️" one of her followers gushed on Instagram, while someone else echoed, "'Honky tonk as hell' is the exact vibe I need right now ❤️🤠."

Other fans were simply obsessed with the art for the new album. "Love the theme of this era!!" one person wrote.

    "I can’t wait!!!!🤠🎶 I freakin’ love the album cover!!!!!😍🔥😍🔥" another follower commented.

But mostly, Lambert's fans seem to be the most excited about hearing new music , with one person celebrating the news by writing, "the queen is back 👏🏻

"YeeeeHawwww!!!! 👏🏼🍾🥂♥️ Sooooooo excited!!!!!" another enthusiastic fan commented.

Wednesday's announcement was also accompanied by the release of a brand new single off the album, "Alimony," which joins the already released "Dammit Randy" and "Wranglers" to become the third single off the album.

The full Postcards from Texas album officially drops on Friday, September 13.
