Everton boss Sean Dyche is desperate to bolster his attack ahead of the 2024/25 season.

After battling through another relegation scrap in the previous campaign, Dyche wants to elevate expectations in the coming months, and new goal scorer is vital.

Despite speculation over the future of Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Goodison Park, the England international is looks set to remain on Merseyside, as he enters the final year of his contract.

Calvert-Lewin ended the 2023/24 season as Everton's joint-top scorer, but with just seven league goals scored, as Everton recorded the second lowest goal tally in the Premier League with 40.

The numbers do not lie, and Dyche is already rumoured to be pursuing moves for Leeds United's winger Wilfried Gnonto and Napoli attacker Jesper Lindstrom.

However, the need for a central attacker is crucial, with question marks remaining over Calvert-Lewin's long-term fitness.

As per reports from Italian outlet Tuttosport , Everton, Brentford and West Ham United have all registered an interest in experienced Juventus forward Arkadiusz Milik .

Brentford are preparing for Ivan Toney's possible exit with new Hammers boss Julen Lopetegui looking for reinforcements to his front line.

The report claims Juventus are aiming to secure a fee of around €6.5m ($7m) for the Polish international which falls within Everton's price range.

The main concern for Dyche hangs on Milik's ability to regularly find the back of the net, with just four Serie A goals scored in 2023/24, as his role was also reduced to seven league starts.

With Milik rated as a risk, Dyche will need some convincing, and Chelsea's Armando Broja could be an alternate, if the Blues opt to sell the Albanian striker.
