Texas FFA elects new student officers for upcoming school year

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas FFA Association has announced its new state officers for the 2024-2025 school year. The new officers, who graduated high school in May, will represent Texas FFA for the upcoming school year.
According to Texas FFA officials, area representatives will carry on responsibilities while in college. The President and First Vice President will take a gap year from college to focus on their responsibilities.
“During their 365 days in office, they will travel approximately 40,000 miles and will visit approximately 400 Texas schools conducting leadership workshops and delivering keynote addresses,” Texas FFA said.
Below are provided lists from the Texas FFA of the twelve elected students who will represent each of the twelve area associations within the Texas FFA:
President and First Vice President:
President: Area IV – Hunter Lawson, Paradise FFA
First Vice President: Area IX – Thomas Barton, Shepherd FFA
State Vice Presidents:
Area I – Addie Carlson, Vega FFA
Area II – Walton Marshall, Glasscock County FFA
Area III – Augustus Mushinski, Bridgeland FFA
Area V – Caden Garner, Howe FFA
Area VI – Jeremiah McGee, Union Grove FFA
Area VII – Luke Anderson, James Madison FFA
Area VIII – Tanner Williams, Dawson FFA
Area X – Kasadi Neel, Goliad FFA
Area XI – Cash Smith, Fayetteville FFA
Area XII – Brady Lambert, College Station FFA
Further, FFA officials said the student officers will provide leadership to Texas FFA members and will work with the board of directors to develop a policy for the Texas FFA Association.
