The Jack County Sheriff’s Office and Texas Rangers have identified the victim of a 1984 homicide that occurred near Wizard Wells as Roberta Mumma.

"Authorities are urging anyone with information about Roberta Mumma or the circumstances surrounding her death to come forward," officials said in the media release. "The smallest detail could be crucial in solving this case and bringing closure to Roberta Mumma’s loved ones."
