    Operation Best Friend: Meet Loxley!

    By Morgan Huff,

On Operation Best Friend, the Mikey's Chance will feature one dog that's looking for a home every Wednesday on Good Morning Northwest.

On July 24th, Mikey's Chance brought in 2-year-old German Shepherd mix, Loxley.

Loxley is fully grown even though she is 2 years old and won't grow much more.

She loves to sit in the front year and wait for people passing by to pet her. While she's fully grown, she'll still need a family that is patient and willing to train. Mikey's Chance said she's an incredibly smart pup and would do great when teaching her tricks.

Mikey's Chance said Loxley is perfectly housetrained and crate trained.

She gets along with her other foster siblings and loves to play with them all day but sometimes it may take a bit of time for Loxley to warm up to other animals.

Mikey's Chance said she's the queen of the household and likes to be in charge and would make a great family dog. Preferably older children would do best because she does like to jump but could be trained out of it.

Her adoption fee covers neutering or spaying, up-to-date vaccinations and microchipping.

The family who decides to adopt any of the pets featured weekly will receive a $50 gift card to Paws Natural Pet Emporium.

If you're interested in adopting Bart or different animals from Mikey's Chance, reach out on Facebook or click here.

Watch #OperationBestFriend every Wednesday on Good Morning Northwest at 5 and 6 a.m.
