One of the main storylines that NFL fans followed over the offseason was the absence of New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers during mandatory minicamp.

Rodgers has opened up about where he was — a previously scheduled trip to Egypt — instead of being with his team, and he claims that he and head coach Robert Saleh are on good terms.

With training camp starting this week, we finally got a chance to hear from Rodgers about everything, and he confirmed that the team fined him for his absence. While he wouldn't detail the exact amount, No. 12 did give a hint.

When asked if the fine was for the mandatory amount of $50,000, Rodgers replied with a slight smile.

"I think it might have been a little more than that," he said.

Rodgers went on to state that he and his teammates are all on the same page, and that this was more of a story outside of the building than it was inside the building.

As far as the money goes, Rodgers can afford it. In August, he and the Jets agreed to a revised contract worth $112.5 million over three years.
