The Las Vegas Raiders are back at training camp, but this offseason shows they have much higher expectations than what they finished with last season. They almost made the playoffs last year, and with the moves and additions they have made, they feel they can compete at a high level. And, why shouldn't they believe that?

If you don't believe in yourself, who will?

The Raiders are in Southern California , where they are holding training camp in Costa Mesa, close to some of their LA roots. But, training camp is where the real work gets started. It's where the team starts their 2024 season, because now, every week, they will have football. The pads aren't on yet, and won't be till next week, but this is where the real work begins.

For the weapons on this team, they are already showing out early. Training camp started with some individual drills and group workouts. This is where they break off and work with their position coaches and anything else like that.

One of the first clips we got from camp was Jakobi Meyers skying high for a pretty cool one-handed catch. Sure, there was no defense being played, but the catch was pretty impressive, to say the least.

The Raiders have so many good weapons. They don't have a great quarterback situation around them, but they have made sure to put great weapons around both Aidan O'Connell and Gardner Minshew to help limit the mistakes as much as possible.

Meyers is one of those guys that will help, and we saw last year he can be very, very good.
