    Evers appoints Benjamin Lindsay as Ozaukee County District Attorney

    MADISON, Wis. -- Gov. Tony Evers announced Thursday his appointment of Benjamin Lindsay to serve as Ozaukee County District Attorney.

    "Benjamin Lindsay is an experienced prosecutor who is committed to a career of public service," said Gov. Evers. "He will serve the people of Ozaukee County well as district attorney.

    Lindsay has been an assistant district attorney in Ozaukee since 2018 and serves as juvenile justice prosecutor.

    He is a graduate of UW-Madison and UW-Law School.

    "I am excited and honored to serve as Ozaukee County District Attorney and will work hard to ensure the safety of our community," Lindsay said.
