    Snoop Dogg.

The words "O.G." and "Ouchi" sound somewhat alike but have no relation. The former is the moniker of iconic rapper Snoop Dogg and the latter is the shortened name of a Judo move (Ouchi-gari).

But Snoop mixed up the two Wednesday when he met Team USA's judo team at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he will serve as one of the torchbearers during the opening ceremony. Team USA's Angelica Delgado taught Snoop the Ouchi, only for the rapper to name the judo move after himself.

"That was awesome," Delgado told USA Today of meeting Snoop. "He loved one of the judo moves cause it sounded like O.G., and it's really Ouchi, but I let him have it. I was like, 'Yeah, the O.G. We'll name that after you.' It was awesome. I'm going to call it the O.G. from now on, I'm not even going to say the Japanese name for the throw, but it was really cool."

Delgado revealed the rapper was "fearless" after he learned a hip throw and demonstrated the move on Team USA coach Jhonny Prado. The coach was so thrilled with Snoop that he awarded him his own Keikogi, the uniform worn in judo contests, and an honorary black belt.

Prado said Snoop "didn't expect" the honor of receiving a black belt.

"It's funny because the first thing that he said, 'I told Bruce Lee that I was going to become a black belt and I'm thanking you.' He's something else. It was really great," Prado said of Snoop.

Team USA's judo team will be formed by Delgado, John Jayne, Maria Laborde and Jack Yonezuka. While Delgado will make her third Olympic appearance, the other three are debutants on the Olympic stage.

Get ready to see a lot of Snoop on your TV screens over the next few weeks. Besides serving as one of the torchbearers in the opening ceremony, Snoop will be an analyst on NBC Sports' broadcast of the Games.
