The New England Patriots hit the field on Wednesday for their first training camp session missing just six players, but one of those players has returned.

On Thursday, running back Antonio Gibson was present for practice, indicating he's been removed from the non-football injury list after being placed on it on Monday.

However, according to those in attendance , he left the main field early in the session.

Gibson, 26, signed a three-year deal with New England this offseason after spending his first four years with Washington. Over the length of his rookie contract, he rushed for 2,643 yards and 22 touchdowns on 4.1 yards per carry while adding another 1,283 yards and seven scores on 172 receptions.

Heading into 2024, he's expected to spell Rhamondre Stevenson in the Patriots backfield. He can also be used as a weapon in the passing game out wide if needed.
