Will Kevin Durant play in the Olympics? That is the question on every US Basketball fan's mind heading into the tournament. The Phoenix Suns star did not play in any of Team USA's tune-ups heading into Paris.

However, Steve Kerr and the rest of the team were confident that Durant could play. So much so that Kerr said they didn't need a replacement. Based on this video, it seems like the Suns star is ready to play.

The video shows a montage of Team USA players during their scrimmage. The first clip features Durant cutting baseline and dunking. It's an encouraging sign that he's at least good to go in scrimmages.

Durant is nursing a calf injury that he suffered just before the preparation for the Olympics started. Kerr and Team USA's coaching staff have been extremely cautious in handling the star's injury.

Durant is one of the most decorated players in international basketball. A former gold medalist himself, the star was part of multiple championship teams. He looks to add another gold medal to his vast trophy collection.
