Training camp is back, as every NFL team looks to try and improve on what they did last year. For the Las Vegas Raiders, they almost made the playoffs with one of the worst situations you can have. They had an interim head coach, a backup rookie quarterback, and an awful offensive scheme.

They have made changes to try and fix all of that, along with adding some pretty great players to their roster, and everyone is still doubting them. That's okay - Maxx Crosby and Davante Adams say they would rather it be that way.

The team is in Southern California , where the Las Vegas Raiders are holding training camp in Costa Mesa, getting back to some of their Los Angeles roots. But, training camp is where the real work gets started. It's where the team starts their 2024 season, because now, every week, they will have football. The pads aren't on yet, and won't be till next week, but this is where the real work begins.

We already know what happened on Day 1, as both quarterbacks battling for the starting position played well, and even Anthony Brown, the backup QB battling for the third spot, made the best throw of the day. There is a lot to be excited about, and these battles are one of the biggest reasons why.

There weren't a lot of clips going on in practice during the 11-on-11 period, so fans and media who were not there didn't really get to get a feel for how great it was. However, the Raiders posted a highlight tape from Day 1 to show, and it's going to fire fans up.

You may notice a few things in this video: One, Brock Bowers is extremely fast for a tight end. Two: Maxx Crosby is yelling at everyone, which means he is being himself - going 100% on Day 1 and setting the tone for the team.

This group of players has a lot to prove to the rest of the world.
