    20 years later: NYSP looking for info on Montgomery County homicide

    CHARLESTON, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — New York State Police are continuing to investigate a cold case homicide. On July 25, 2004, Brian Galusha, 30, was found severely injured on North Green Road in Charleston (Fultonville) and later died at Albany Medical Center.

    Galusha was last seen alive at a house party on South Green Road in Root the previous night. The party was about four miles from where he was found laying in the roadway.

    Galusha’s cause of death was skull fractures and a brain injury caused by blunt force trauma. His death was ruled a homicide. If you have any information that can help solve this case, you can email crimetip@troopers.ny.gov or call (518) 457-6811 .
