It's time for the Olympics, and fans throughout the world are gearing up for the televised sports spectacle running from July 26 to Aug. 11 in Paris.

And New Jerseyans won't miss much of the games. Hosting Advice, a web hosting adviser, says it surveyed 3,000 sports fans to gauge how much they will be watching. The average Garden State resident plans on watching over 39 hours, the survey said, above the national average of 35 hours.

Hawaii led the survey, with 98 hours. Montana residents seem to be less interested — the survey said they plan to watch only about eight hours.

Other findings from the survey suggest that, on average, respondents plan to watch at least six different Olympic events. One in four said they plan to take time off work or school.

The majority plans on watching the events on TV; 69% of those surveyed expect to watch the games mostly live.

Paris is six hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time. The schedule of events should start every day around 3 a.m. and run until 6 p.m.
