ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Investigators were able to identify two alleged thieves who stole sports cars from an Adams County dealership in April, and appear to be connected to other similar thefts in Pennsylvania and Maryland, the charging documents say.

Both London Flores and Jefferson Ventura, both of Maryland were charged Tuesday in connection to the stolen Chevrolet Camaro and Corvette from the Renn Kirby dealership on April 26, according to the charges filed by State Police at Gettysburg.

With the help of law enforcement agencies in Maryland and State Police in Chester County, and also cell phone records, Troopers were able to identify the duo as suspects in the car thefts. Troopers also learned about similar burglaries where the same type of cars were stolen, according to the charges.

A criminal complaint says the duo arrived at the dealership, located at 55 Expedition Tail in Straban Township, just after midnight in a Dodge Challenger and circled the building, stopping near the showroom. Eventually, police say Flores and Ventura got out of the vehicle and when they got to the showroom door, Ventura used an object to smash the bottom glass out so they could get in.

Once inside, they were able to start the cars but could not open the glass vehicle doors to get them out of the showroom. An Equinox was then used to ram and shatter the glass doors so the duo could drive the vehicles out of the dealership, State Police say.

Troopers were able to determine that there was $25,553 worth of damage done to the glass showroom doors and the Equinox used to ram the doors was considered totaled, and that had a worth of $30,230, the charges show.

The duo faces multiple felony charges of theft, criminal mischief, and burglary.

There was a third suspect in the Adams County car dealership theft that has yet to be charged.

Online court records in Maryland show the two were arrested and have since posted bail.
