Running back Kyren Williams was named to the NFL Top 100 Players list, coming in at 78 overall.

Williams' ranking is a nice rise for the third-year back, who was unranked heading into the 2023 season.

"In his rookie season, Williams only rushed for 139 yards in 10 games played. That changed in 2023 when he took over the RB1 role in Los Angeles," NFL Networks writes. "The dual-threat RB recorded 1,144 rushing yards for 12 touchdowns, including 32 receptions with three receiving TDs in 11 games. It was the first time a Rams RB eclipsed 1,000 rushing yards since Todd Gurley did it in 2018, which resulted in Williams earning his first Pro Bowl honor."

Williams was the heart and soul of the Rams' offense during the 2023 season. Heading into the 2024 season, the Rams will also have Blake Corum taking snaps from Williams.

Sean McVay believes the two-running back system will work seamlessly.

“One of the things that jumped off is there’s a lot of traits that reminded me of Kyren Williams ,” McVay said. “Obviously I love Kyren and he’s been so important, and just the human being, but then also when you just look at the way he works at it, the production, and the things that he was able to bring to our offense last year, and even really some of the things that he worked through his rookie year. I think there’s a lot of similarities.”

But Williams is certain to build on his No. 78 ranking.
